Miracle Maca

I’ve written about maca before, but I decided to do a video about it too because it’s so awesome. I’m going to do a follow-up video in about a month and discuss serving sizes and the benefits I get after being consistent with consuming a higher amount.

Have you tried maca?

News/Notes: I’m in NY this week visiting my family, and currently, although the sun is out, it’s 23 degrees and there’s snow on the ground. Uh. April?

I came here feeling really great, and after a few days I really want my regular routine back—it’s so much harder to eat and drink the way I want to here. But my goal is to knock off the vacation lifestyle mode today. I’ve been out with friends, in with family, and not actually sleeping a whole lot… I get to have time with Matthew today and Thurs/Fri, and I have a few friend things scheduled before I go back to the beach next Monday.

When you travel, do you keep up your healthy lifestyle? I want to, but it’s harder to be active when it’s so darn cold outside, and I like to splurge a little when I’m being social with friends!

I love the new blog header! It looks great! I try really hard to at least keep up my activity since I know I will splurge a bit on vacation. Everything in modification right! 🙂

I still have not tried maca. I hope you’re enjoying your visit with your family – despite the cold temps! Brrr When I travel I try really hard to at least eat my normal breakfast and snacks and find ways to get in workouts.

  4. Any input regarding expiration dates? I restarted using my bag of Navitas maca last week in my smoothies, but realized it expired last August! Think I should get a new bag? (I also added cinnamon to the smoothies- it helps hide the maca flavor!)
