Fancy Tuna with Bacon, Avocado, Cheese, and Hot Peppers!

I’m finally back in my kitchen (I mean, I was only gone for two nights, but I took a break from making actual real food for a bit). Today, I made tuna…fancy tuna. I think you’ll like this one (if you like tuna!).

Fancy Tuna with Bacon and Avocado

1 can tuna (drained)
2-3 Tbsp mayo or greek yogurt (the amount depends on how gooey you like your tuna!)
2 shakes turmeric (to taste)
2-3oz cheese (I used mozzerella, but any kind you want would probably be good)
1/4 avocado (diced)
hot pepper (diced, to taste—I used about 1/4 of a red one, no clue what exact variety it was)
1-2 strips bacon (crumbled)

Mix all the ingredients together, but sprinkle the avo, bacon, and pepper on top if you want it to look prettier when you serve it.

News/Notes: Thanksgiving was so much fun that my family extended it until Saturday… We went to South Coast Winery for lunch on Friday, and Lioness for a glass of wine and to enjoy the view. Of course we ate a lot, drank a lot, and even played a game on Thanksgiving night (it was called Guesstures I think—it’s basically charades). I was hoping to hit up an avocado stand (for the 25 for $5 deal) on the way out of Fallbrook, but didn’t see any. I swear someday I will hit up that deal…and then it will be Avocado Week!

My new kitchen table! It's the Twist Bistro Table from CB2. Can't wait for my chairs to arrive...once I get them and hang some things on the wall, I'll show apartment pics.
I don't know how well you can see this---it was taken from the third floor of Santa Monica Place at the mexican restaurant... do you see that craziness out on the promenade? I like it--people are so happy and the Christmas decorations are so cheery and classy looking.
This guy really tried hard to sell me this cutting board (which is totally beautiful). He offered for me to take a pic of him with it... why? I have no idea. But I hope someone buys it for me for Christmas.
On my Christmas list... color Marseilles. I walk by this Le Creuset stuff so often that I'm now convinced that I really really need it... and that hundreds of dollars for a pan is not unreasonable...

I’m pretty busy this week, but I also have a lot of great things going on. I just received some clothes from Yogi Clothing to try out and review—I tried them on and I love all three items, which will make the review super easy! I just have to take some pics of myself (or bribe someone to help) this weekend.
Do you jazz up your tuna?

What’s on your Christmas wish list?

What was the last piece of furniture you bought?
