I decided this will be smoothie week.  Not green smoothie week—just Smoothie Week.  So everyday, I’m going to make up and post a new recipe.  But I’m counting the Valentine’s Day smoothie twice (Sun and Mon), just because it was so good.

Today’s smoothie is not as beautiful as I had hoped, but it tastes really good!


2.5-3 cups frozen orange sections (I used clementines)

1.5 cups Almond Milk

1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract (or seeds from one vanilla pod)

1 Tbsp Hemp Protein powder

1 Tbsp Maca powder

1 Tbsp Yacon powder

Blend until smooth—it takes a little longer to blend since the oranges have the stringy texture, and you want to smooth all that out.
